I know we’re all excited for the summer, especially here in New York where winter has been approximately eighteen months longer than usual, but I think it’s important to put things in perspective. Yes, summer means warm weather and no school and outdoor drinking BUT summer also means that return of Covert Affairs, the worst USA original show EVER, an opening title sequence that looks like someone vomited up a parody of spy shows all over iMovie, and the low point of Piper Perabo’s career — a career that has included dancing on a bar, billing underneath a chihuahua, and Rocky & Bullwinkle. I mean, the show features Christopher Gorham as a BLIND CIA agent who is a MASTER COMPUTER HACKER (although he can’t see the screen?!) yet, the most unbelievable part is that Perabo could ever be a field agent.
Anyway, the Covert Affairs season two premiere is June 7th. It’s going to be terrible and we are definitely going to watch it.
